We all took
it slowly this morning to get vertical. Eventually up, dressed and clean Roni
and Laura tidied up and got ready to face the world while the boys went hunting
and gathering. They returned with tasty kai in hand – hot dogs (frankfurter not
battered type...Bray’s latest taste addiction), fresh bread, hot roast chicken
and coleslaw. Yum! We all had a little of each before Rawiri & Laura hit
the road to spend New Year’s Day in Windsor with Laura’s family. We two settled
in for an afternoon of journal writing while watching How I Met Your Mother. Yes, this is a recurring theme – Bray now
has seasons 1 through 7 and loves it
so this may continue for some time!
Eventually
we got peckish and had a dinner of coleslaw and left over chicken with peas and
potatoes before an earlyish night – apart from the usual NBA watching...
