When Roni
got up this morning the pool out the back was iced right across and quite
thick! That is until Milo broke it up with his face and ate it…he is a unique
dog alright!
Today Laura
went to work while we had a quiet one at home. Wee trip to Blockbuster for the
boys to check out games via a mate’s place to collect an extra xbox controller
(essential to the boys lives!). The mate also had a cute dog and cat that we
loved up before heading home. Time then to walk the dogs in the sun – fun with
a tennis ball, crazy racing each other and both dogs eventually ending up in
the river much to our consternation! Home in time to have chicken noodle soup
for lunch with Laura on her break from work.
Relaxing in
the afternoon and the boys got into the games before we made tacos for dinner –
interactive food, our favourite!
Laura makes
a wide variety of cakes and cupcakes to order – her photos are amazing! Tonight
she was working on creating Pascal the wee green lizard from Disney’s new
adaptation of Rapunzel – Tangled. He was
a work of art! Tomorrow it will be time to create the Rapunzel part of the cake…she
has the doll and began planning the bodice to be made from icing tonight…next
the cakes have to be baked, Rapunzel added then a dress iced over the top of it
all. What a lot of work!
The boys
were up late again with chats and games though the girls bailed before it got
too early in the morning…
