Has anyone heard of Confucius?

No seriously. Confucius? Anyone?

He was pretty bad ass. I mean, we've all heard of him. We all know he was pretty cool. But I don't really think many people look past that.

But he was amazing!

I vistied the Confucius Temple in Beijing recently. Confucius wasn't a god, just a philosopher. And it wasn't really a temple, kind of...a shrine? I'm not really sure. But there weren't people worshipping like in the Buddhist temples. I think temple is a loose translation.

Anyway, I still don't know much about him, but what I learned in the "temple," I liked. I'm currently in the process of learning more about him. If anyone has any offerings (in the form of translated works by him or other books about him), you can just ask for my address.

Oh, and he has like three names.  One is close to Kung Fu, but it's not.  It's something like Kung Fu Si (pronounced like ds).  The others are Qiu (chee-u) and Zhongni (jong knee).  Confucius is our westernized, romanized name of Kung Fu Si.
