We left quite early for our weekend away on the Amalfi Coast. Our first stop was Pompeii, which was so different and interesting but rather hot in the midday sun. Then we arrived at our campsite in Sorrento, which had the most beautiful views on the way there. Jade and I had a tent cabin, which was suprisingly nice. That night we went into town for a group dinner at nice lil Italian resturant. After losts of food, Jade and I did a silly thing and tried on some bikinis, it was not a good sight. But that night we slept like babies.
Saturday was another early one, ready for our day on the Isle of Capri. It was unbelievable! We all caught a jet over, then Jade and I walked up to the town of Capri which was heaven. A lil later we caught the most craziest bus up to the town of Ana Capri, which had stunning views. We then layed on the beach for a few hours before catching the jet back to Sorrento. It was beautiful to feel salt water again. We decided to have a small picnic at the lookout for dinner, as we both felt like all we have done this trip so far was eat.
Sunday we left Sorrento on a bus, for our journey home. We travelled along the Amalfi Coast, and stopped in Amalfi for a 2 hour break. The ocean was glorious, I had to go for a swim. But meant that I was wet the whole way home. We stopped for lunch in a quite lil town, which was full of familes who all know each other and were out catching up on a sunday afternoon. A few hours later we got back to the camp, where I got to catch upn with some fellow travellers that I had not seen in a while. After a light dinner and a few glasses of wine I made my way to bed. Dreaming of the most beautiful weekend so far!
