Our last day in Paris was great!! We got up and enjoyed breakfast at our hotel. Then we went to see the Arch de Triumph. It was a cold day and supposed to rain, but we were lucky and the rain held off. We headed to Roland Garros and the plan was to stand in line for ground passes and watch the semi finals on the TV there and see what other matches were going on. But then I just couldnt stand it: There were guys selling tickets everywhere! So, me, Sumner, Lane, and Ghandi got tickets to the main court and went it. The story is long; but it was a day of roller coaster emotions; thinking we were going in, then not, then for free, then in, but not to the games, then not even on the grounds and finally we were in and got to watch the semis at the French Open!!!! And despite 70 percent chance of rain, it held off the entire time! The other guys watched the matches from the grounds and came back a little early.
We all met up at the hotel and then went out for our final dinner. We found a great little Italian restaurant around the hotel and then went back to the Eiffel Tower to hang out for our last night. It was a great trip and Paris was a perfect ending!!
And now we are headed home. I wish we could stay longer!! But alas, the real world calls. I have gotten totally submersed in eighteen year old boys culture and lingo. . . I will have culture shock returning to the adult world!! We have a shuttle coming to pick us up so for now, Arrvidici!!
