Well I have had a birthday since last time. It was on the fourth of May and of course was quite a long day.... as always here Birthday celbrations are by surprise.... so no one wishes you happy birthday till they jump out wth the cake. then they all make very embarassing speeches about how wonderful you are and how you have changed their worlds.It is quite overwhelming especiall coming from a culture where birthday speeches are "Thanks for the cake Mum" or at your 21st where everyone tells embarassing stories about you. Here it is all sincere and you are expected to without sarcasm respond.... a challenge for me... It was a great day though....
