any excuse to get overseas again: applied for a 7-month assistantship teaching english in a high school in france. first time i went overseas trying to maintain a long-distance relationship, and definitely the last. when your mind's several thousand kms away, you can't enjoy anything - at least, in my case. not even a 2-week getaway to spain during my school holidays got a smile out of me. quite easily the most obvious lesson i learnt on a trip!
