my first longterm foray overseas - stayed with my adopted family in olne (bernard, sylviane, jerome, gregoire, corentin, charlotte). clicked with jerome's group of friends (vinz, maud, joane, tom), fell in love for the first time (or thought i did), felt genuinely happy and alive, - if my trip to france in 1998 was the conception of my wanderlust, the time in belgium was the birth and infancy.
