i just finished creating my timetable, later i'll have to go to university to get it approved by a paper counsellor. hope it'll work out just fine. i'm still at the hostel (a very cool one, btw) and jenny is, too. we got into the same one just as everybody else. half of alban's here, nadja (ex floor 16) moves out today but mo (ex floor 30) arrived yesterday. ;-) i still don't have a room. maybe i'm too picky, but i actually don't want to stay in a room that smells mouldy and pay 100 NZ$ a week plus(!) expenses... but one kiwi girl (who called me "sweet as" all the time...)told me that i shouldn't worry. today orientation week starts and there are heaps of flats coming up soon, as the kiwis are looking for new flatmates VERY last minute... but still - it's not nice to still live out of your bag while everybody else is moving on. i can't relax and really enjoy being here now as long as i don't have everything sorted out.
jenny and i went to the river yesterday and for the first time here i felt quiet and peaceful. the river flows very slowly and smoothly, there were ducks and fishes around and it was just nice lyeing on the warm wood looking down into the green water...
gotta go now, time's running out.
