Photography is about capturing a moment, but it’s also about capturing a memory, a feeling, an emotion, a piece of your life that can never be replicated. For me, photography is more of an experience than an action.

When I was younger I only took photos when I went on vacation, but five years ago or so I started to look around me and carry my camera with me everywhere. I love capturing a beautiful photo, even if I already have a dozen shots, I’ll still take more because the same thing will always look different another day.

I’m still trying to find my place in the world and even if I don’t know where I’m going, I always know where I’ve been and I have the photos I’ve taken to remind me. This amazing scholarship opportunity would allow me to not only assist Mr. Edwards as much as possible, but to also learn hands-on skills that can turn my passion into a career.

I would be able to give back to the photographic community by hopefully working as a travel writer and photographer. I want to create a travel blog and/or write a travel guide using my own photographs as well as contribute to existing travel blogs and literature. I want to guide people like me on unforgettable adventures.
