I have to live by the ocean. I'm passioante about all kinds of places, but home is always near the water that shapes our world. I feast on shellfish, wade in shoal, and walk on drifting sands. I have a Master of Arts in Film Studies degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC and a Bacherlor of Arts in English and Film Studies from the University of King's College in Halifax, NS.
I love reading, writing, hiking, photography, volunteering, paddleboarding, cooking and baking, craft beers, screenprinting and fabric stamping, and of course travelling and exploring. I've been to Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Italy, Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic, the US and of course a bunch of places here in Canada.
Of my many goals in life, becoming a travel writer/photographer is high on the list, as is travelling across Europe, teaching English in Japan, completing the Camino de Santiago, paddleboarding around the Bahamas, writing my first full-length novel and resulting screenplay, and visiting all of the major houses used in Jane Austen film adaptations in England.
