During the summer months, my family likes to do weekend getaways to our cottage on Mill Lake in Hubbards, Nova Scotia, half an hour outside of Halifax. After the drive, we have to take a short boat ride because our cottage is only accessible by water. Our family dog Darcy loves coming right up to the front of the boat to feel the wind whip across his face and lift his ears. I snapped this picture quickly when both Darcy and my dad weren't looking. I love that both man and dog have the same expression on their faces.
