Day 88 – 27th June 2016 Monday – Physio and Kevin leaves for Bangkok

VIETNAM | Tuesday, 28 June 2016 | Views [306]

Kevin rode with Andrew and Michael to Montgomery Golf links. I did some washing and cleaning before heading to change some money and then to Tam the Physio for a 2 hour treatment. It was again  a strenuous  workout that included over an hour with Tam, time on the stretching machine and some ultrasound. Kevin headed to Almanity and I met him there. I went to the gym area and signed up new member Judy and Claire signed up her husband Peter. We know them from bowls. This means I now have another months membership and it only cost VND 200k or $12 that I kicked back to Judy for joining. Not bad for a months use of the gym and pool, plus 20% discount on food and drinks. Kevin advised the gym of his travel dates and they have adjusted his card as well. Kevin spoke with Claire about travelling on the sky train from the airport to his hotel in Bangkok.  Janey joined us just after lunch and then went for a workout in the gym.  I headed back late afternoon and stopped at Phuong the tailor to pick up the second pair of trousers. She had let the waist out a fraction but they are still too tight when I sit down, so she will make further adjustments. I said I would have to check the other pair  as I didn't sit down in them. Later I headed to Vang’s for Tri’s lesson. Kevin did last minute running around in town and cleaned his bike for storing while he is away. When I got home from teaching I checked the trousers again and they will need to go back for letting out a little as well. For dinner we went to Hoa Hien where Kevin  had his favourite Cau Lau and I had Bun Cha. We wondered home and Kevin left at 8pm for his flight to Bangkok.
