Day 117 19th August 2014 Tuesday. Packed and on the road for Perth by 8.00am. Travelled down the coast road until we came to Mitchell Freeway. We stopped just before it for a cuppa and a plan for traversing the city. Stay close! The freeway was great, up to 4 lanes at times and signage very clear. We got to the city and it was still 4 lanes and we continued onto Kwinana Freeway which took us across the river and down to the southern suburbs. At one stage I had to stop quickly and dad ran into my rear. I didn’t feel it but he told me about it. We arrived at the caravan park at 11.30 and were all set up in no time. Nice big sites but a little close to the boom gate which could be noisy at night. The rain has stopped and I put my shorts and thongs back on. Kevin went exploring in the avo while I update the blog and did other mundane things. I rang Yvonne to let her know Kevin will be coming home next Monday 25th August as he will need have a meeting with SACA before he starts working on the Southern Districts pitches. Aaron called and has arranged to visit tonight. He called in just around tea time so he joined us for butter chicken. Chatted away like he always does. Made arrangements for the next few days.
