Day 70 2nd July 2014. Wednesday. Decided to go for a walk along the southern beach as the tide was low. It took 35 min to walk to the point. I was unable to go around to the second point as the tide was coming in again and I couldn’t get past the rocks. When I got back we all grabbed our gear and went down to the beach to fish again. Kevin even threw a line in this time. The tide was still coming in and at times was quite rapid. I kept having to move my chair back up the beach as the water washed around my feet. Dad caught a Dart but other than this no bites. Other fishermen along the beach also caught nothing. Appears there is a bit of a drought on fish at the moment. After lunch Kevin went walking along the southern beach to the point while I watched a little TV. I had developed blisters on the soles of my feet from walking barefoot on the beach this morning. Not happy as it was sore. Had an early shower. Another night of canasta with dad and I winning again.
