Jodie had left Australia on 17th December. I was now traveling solo. Whilst staying at the hostel in Bondi, I organised a trip with a girl and guy staying in the hostel to visit The Blue Mountians in Katoomba Which was about a two hour train journey west of Sydney.
Here we saw the popular three sister peaks and Maartje and I went abseiling at Mount York and Mount Victoria at Zig Zag.
we spent three nights in Katoomba at the YHA. I through,y enjoyed this trip. We had quite a bit of rain but on the day of abseiling it was beautiful. The evenings here were spent playing card games with two other guys we met. This is where I learnt to play 'Kings Cup' aka 'Ring of Fire'
