We got $400 a week plus commission on ticket sales. We sold tickets for the Christmas Day Festival 'Sunburnt' and the New Years Eve and New Years Day Festivals... Shore Thing and Field Day. I made $10 on each ticket to Sunburt and $12 on each ticket for New Years Eve and New Years Day.
This job was a godsend, I was able to survive on the $400 a week and save some money also :)
Liz and I were invited to the staff Christmas yacht party which had all inclusive food and drinks. We had only been with the company for a week and already it looked set to be a very good one to be working for! The yacht left Sydney Yacht Club and we spent about 4 hours on the Sea around Sydney Harbour. It was such an amazing day. The weather was perfect and the views were spectacular. I took some awesome pictures of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
Memories for a lifetime!!
