My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

India | Saturday, July 6, 2013 | 5 photos

Photography has been a passion since childhood, I was always fascinated by cameras with big flash guns mounted on it in the hands of photographers. Initially I started clicking photos by borrowing very basic cameras from friends and family. Those days excitement of waiting for the negatives to be developed was totally different.

When i started earning after my graduation my first investment was in a camera. Travelling is the food for photography, as I love to go around exploring different regions on my bike. Exploring the western Ghats of India where I had different adventures like river rafting, mid night trekking in forests. South Korea being my company’s head quarter, I have explored South Korea to a great extent.

Currently I am working with an MNC as a software engineer, but I would like to take my photography skills at the mark where I can earn my bread and butter from it, so that I can make it as a full time profession. This opportunity of learning from Mr. Jason Edwards would surely elevate my photography skills to a great extent helping me achieve my prolonged dream.

About vishal

Indian weddings are known of its many rituals. They are not just a one day ceremony, pre-wedding ceremonies begin way before the wedding sometimes a week ago.
One of the most important pre wedding ceremonies is Mehendi (Heena) ceremony, this is the day when mehendi is applied on hands and feet of the bride and groom. It is like temporary tattoo. Beautiful designs are done on the hands and feet. Applying mehendi is very common in India during celebrations of festival and auspicious occasions. It is a common belief that the darker the color of mehendi on the hands, the more she is loved by her better half.
The signification of application of mehendi as a powerful herb is that it relaxes oneself from stress, anxiety, nervousness, which is very common during weddings.
