walked through the busy streets of Rome over to the Coliseum and old Rome. if you saw 1000 pictures of the Coliseum and then went to see it in person you still would be shocked. it is breathtaking to see up close. we took a tour through it and went inside the arena and the building structure is incredible. all of the surfaces are covered in white marble with limestone or bricks inside. then went through the old Rome. if you could amgine a single rome that is 40 acre big with a 80 foot high selling and in the room there was an island with a mote and a bridge that leads to a temple all inside the room. the hole building clovers a total land mass of 80 acres!
