    Socotra is a unique island outside of mainland Yemen with 700 endemic species of flora and fauna found nowhere else on the planet. The inhabitants are a mixture of Somali, Arab and Indian origin and speak a language spoken only in Socotra. by: travelingnomad Views[1290] Yemen has one of the world’s youngest age structures with three-quarters of its 21 million inhabitants under the age of 30, and 46 per cent under age 15.
