    Yemen’s capital is one of the longest continuously inhabited cities in the world, and also one of the highest with an altitude of 2200 meters. Walking through the old city of Sana’a, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, is like stepping into a fairytale with its gingerbread castles made of burned brick towers.
