Holly drags me to the middle of no where once again. 40+ degrees and we are trekking to our next home in Evora. Evora is a small walled city where most of the buildings are older than Canada. Our place was very basic but would suffice for the three days we would be there. We met the owner and he was very nice. He offered to take us on a sightseeing trip to the megaliths the next day so we chatted for a while and he told us all about the town. In the morning to went on our ride with him to the large stones and were not sure what to make of them. They where some sort of ancient means of astrology according to our guild. We walked part of the town that night and would venture in the churches and to the museum the next day. We were told about a bone church and were interested in seeing what it was like.. It was amazing the entire structure created from human bones yes bones robbed from the dead in the cemetery. It was used at a place of worship and prayer. On our final day we went to the local pool to cool off and had fun jumping from the high diving boards and swimming in the cool water. In the morning we would have another hot walk back to the bus station and on to Cassias.
