After they pulled me out, the girls moved on to the next animal that was sinking in distress, this time a horse. These girls saved me.

I was walking through a valley that had recieved some heavy rain the night before. I stepped into this puddle, thinking it was only a few inches deep, and instantly sunk all the way up to my chest. It was extremely frightening as I was completely stuck. I yelled out to a couple of girls in the distance. They ran over and pulled me out.

A nice old lady that I met on the last day of the trek. She asked me for medicine. All I had was sunscreen. I put a bit on her hand which made her very happy.
