Poland

We spent one of the most harrowing days of our lives at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp where over 1 million people died, 90% of them Jews. We were still in shock for several days after we visited Auschwitz. We weren't sure whether to put these photos up here for fear of appearing disrespectful. But our visit that day changed our perspective on life and war so much that we thought we should share some of the horrible images we saw. How this ever happened is inconceivable.
