Perfect day to enter the wonderful and cultured Mumbai (Bombay). It is the 59th Republic day of India and the place was a riot of Indian flags and people everywhere. All over the country were celebrations, including a most amazing production 'Visions of India' featuring musical artists from all over the country and presented in front of India Gate.
We wondered how to get into the 'golden zone' inside with chairs, only to be told that you had to get tickets in the morning. Howerver, this man had spares, and he invited us to join him. In the crowd, everyone was loudly supportive of the show, particularly when the Bollywood actress came on, a group of boys in front getting up to dance at every song! Great fun
