I have been reminded of what a small world this is as last night in town I caught up with Matt V from uni and his girl Alana, and only a couple of days ago with some people from karate in Perth. Kind of nice really, to have connections with people - we are never really far away.
I woke this morning to a gentle chill in the air, permeated with the sweet smell of smoke from burning leaves. While at home that smell is accompanied by an apprehensive feeling, I find it appealing here and reminds me of our journey through the countryside- past villages and farms with cooking and clearing fires. This is our last day here and I am sad to go, but new journies await and I know Hamish is looking forward to his next adventure in Singapore.
Cheers
