    Two Lover's Point is now a tourist destination and for a fee, you can stand on the viewing platform. The tragic story of a Spanish girl and Chamorro boy who's forbidden love caused them to leep to their deaths is retold to the newly wed tourists. by: sylviafrain Views[597] This desserted Gun Club is located in the heart of the elite shopping district of Tumon Bay, which is also a 'reserve'. High end shops line the wide streets, while busses of Japanese Tourists visit the highly airconditioned duty free stores. There is no sign of what Tumon village used to look like or any links to Chamorro culture. by: sylviafrain Views[395] Carabao were most likely brought to the island during the Spanish occupation. Today, they symbolize Chamorro culture and are seen in parks, villages and on ranches. Over 8,000 infants and children are dependent on the program on Guahan. This stall owner says he rarely gets customers who seek fresh fruits and vegetables. More business occurs at the 'quick marts' further down the road near the gas station. Signs for cigarettes and beer advertisements cover the front of the store. by: sylviafrain Views[312] Ritidian Point is at the northern part of the island, adjacent to Andresen's AIr Force Base which was established in 1944 and caused the 'relocation' of several local Chamorro families.
