Whitianga is a small beach town population 4,000. I only spent 2 days here and it wasn’t very good weather but I still enjoyed the little town. The hostel we stayed at was very cute and cozy which makes it even easier to meet new people. First night we got there late so we had supper and had a few drinks then headed to the beach with some wine :) The next day was just spent relaxing and cliff jumping :) Now that was good fun hehe That night we headed back to the beach with more wine. The beach, cheap wine and good company…can’t ask for more ;)
