New Zealand's biggest city...Need I say more!

NEW ZEALAND | Wednesday, 30 December 2009 | Views [503]

Auckland also known as the city of sails, is the biggest city in New Zealand.  There are only 4.3 million people on this small island and 1.4 million live in Auckland.  That just gives you an idea of how busy it gets. That been said you can understand why it was not my favorite city in New Zealand. I prefer spending my time on the beach :).

I did most of the tourist stuff walked around town, did the bridge walk, snapped a few pictures of the sky tower, took the ferry out to Devonport, enjoyed the view from Mount Victoria, etc.  I was lucky enough to be able to get out of the city; one of my friends took me out to see the country sides.  You don’t have to go far out of the city to enjoy the beauty this country has to offer. After a few days in Auckland I had enough so I hopped on the Kiwi bus and headed east to Mercury Bay (Whitianga).
