Got to love the smell of sulfur in the air!

Rotorua is known for its geothermal activity (hence why it reeks); there is geysers and hot mud pools located everywhere  in the city. Really cool to see actually. But seriously if you want to live here you better get use to the smell; you just can't seem to get away from it.

Rotorua is also New Zealand's Maori cultural heartland.  So I went to this Maori cultural evening. It was awesome!!  The food was so good and the entertainment was amazing.  Very cool to learn a little more about the Moari people and how they lived before.

The weather was very nice the 3 days I was here so I spent most of my time relaxing by the lake…really felt like a vacation :). My next stop is Auckland and then I’m heading out to the Paihia (Bay of Islands) hopefully go swimming with dolphins if the weather permits :) Well that’s it for now. Hope all is well back home.  Miss you lots!
