The Perennial Adventure Some journeys come to an end. Lucky I am already planning my next little adventure ... where to next?

The Flying Scot

AUSTRALIA | Sunday, 27 July 2008 | Views [729]

World Nomads' Oxfam Trailwalker team has a new team member, Carol - a flying Scot who is certainly up for the challenge. Sue and I were put through our paces on a 10km "warm up" last weekend. Carol set a cracking pace as we descended towards Bobbin Head, chatting happily as she strode out, calling over her shoulder "just let me know if I am going too fast" (this sounds all too familiar!)

We hardly draw breath for 2 hours as we chatted about everything under the sun - luckily it was relatively flat, making the conversation just that bit easier, despite the power bush walking!

Welcome to Nomads Carol - with the cracking pace you set and your infectious story-telling, you'll certainly help make the time fly and guarantee more than a few laughs.
