The Perennial Adventure Some journeys come to an end. Lucky I am already planning my next little adventure ... where to next?

In the dark with a new trailwalking Nomad

AUSTRALIA | Wednesday, 6 August 2008 | Views [800]

Last night, World Nomads' Oxfam Trailwalker team headed out in the dark to continue training for the 100km challenge in only 3 weeks time. It was time to try out the torches and a couple of prospective team mates to:

  1. see if we could all keep up the pace despite only being able to see a few steps ahead, and
  2. work out who was keen (or mad enough) to join our team for 100kms as we walk 100km from the Hawksbury River back into Sydney on the Oxfam Trailwalker.

I am pleased to report that we all made it back without getting lost on the trail, loosing mobile phones or running out of batteries.

I am also very pleased to confirm that Nomads have a new team member ... Ben. A long-legged, snowboard-riding, gadget king, who is definitely fit for the task, despite the fact we only have 3 weeks to go.

Great to have you with us Ben... welcome to Nomads!
