Yep - here I am in sunny Rio J after way too many hours travellin and waaay too much food I swore I wouldn't eat!
Sitting here after a dip in the rooftop pool reflecting on how things are in the world... the swim was fabulous - even if it was in my bonds undies and my t-shirt tucked into my now foisty bra..... yes - thats life after 30 hours of travel and no luggage... kinda funny - but VERY manky.... lucky the main hotel stayers have chosen the beach for their swim today!
hopefully ALL our bags will make an appearance sometime this afternoon...
the other rockers in the party are napping and getting the tummies ready for the "eat by kilo" restaurant we're planning on hitting for dinner....
Had a quick squiz at the foreshore and the lay of the land - the smells are interesting - not too offensive - but it isn't that hot today - so lets see how that goes on a hotter one! plenty of new food and drink to try... can't wait to get into it...
Caught PT (Public Transport) in the form of a train into Centro today - lots of people and even more eateries filled with deep fried stuff? and lots of big booty to prove that's what Brazillians like to snack on! I love people watching and I think I've picked a great place to do it!
anyway - I think I might head down the street and see if I cant find something interesting to watch or do!
