We climbed back up out of the crater after an amazing day on drives...more than I could have ever dreamed to see. Right now I am sitting on top of the world looking out over the Ngorogoro crater and watching the sunset over thousands of animals on the crater floor. The Sopa Lodge is spectacular it is on the rim of the crater and the rooms are all inside small huts lining the cliff with glass windows and rocking chairs looking out over the crater.. I am shocked by the beauty and peace of this place. In the distance I can hear the clanging cow bells of the Maasai cattle and the birds singing but that is all. It would be fun to stay here more than 1 night but maybe tomorrow will be even better, I have been shocked every day I have been here.
