Today is Sinterklaas! Joepie! That means I get presents from Sinterklaas a.k.a Ronald and I get to give pressies too! I love giving pressies!
Traditionally the gift are meant to arrive mysteriously on your doorstep in a sack - however somebody forget to get a sack (not naming any names of course) so instead we have a nice big pile underneath the pot plant Ronald received as a housewarming present a few months back.
I've also been trying to write a poem. Apparently one has to give a poem along with the presents. Something about the receiver or hinting at what the present might be. I've gone a little against tradition here and written something more in keeping with my own style. But then, Ronald says the biggest Sinterklaas tradition is to break traditions anyway. :D
Perhaps if I remember, I will take some piccies and post them up. On Friday we are going to Ronald's parents for more Sinterklaasing, so even more goodies! Joepie!
