    In early autumns there is often snow covering the trees and the grass still green. by: ralu Views[146] Often the wind blows strongly carrying the clouds over the mountains and if you are up there at such moments it is difficult to face the weather. by: ralu Views[177] Situated on the northern side of the peak Ciucas at 1700m altitude, the spectacular rocky formations known as the 'Devil's Hand' (or the 'Hand with Five Fingers') is a very difficult alpine route that was climbed by very few. by: ralu Views[202] Ciucas peak is the highest peak of Ciucas Mountains having 1954m altitude. Once at the top you can see and admire the Brasov city situated nearby. by: ralu Views[179] Rising so far above the surrounding forested hills the very tops of the Ciucas mountains offer some of the best views in the area. In the distance we can easily see the Bucegi Mountains. by: ralu Views[160]
