Ciucas peak is the highest peak of Ciucas Mountains having 1954m altitude. Once at the top you can see and admire the Brasov city situated nearby.

Ciucas peak is the highest peak of Ciucas Mountains having 1954m altitude. Once at the top you can see and admire the Brasov city situated nearby.

Rising so far above the surrounding forested hills the very tops of the Ciucas mountains offer some of the best views in the area. In the distance we can easily see the Bucegi Mountains.

Situated on the northern side of the peak Ciucas at 1700m altitude, the spectacular rocky formations known as the 'Devil's Hand' (or the 'Hand with Five Fingers') is a very difficult alpine route that was climbed by very few.
