Living the Dream

Going nowhere

So Gobey has the good news for me today that there is no flight today but I can get home on the Garuda flight on Wednesday early morning at 2.12am and get up the mountain first thing when I land (after a quick stop to the other side of the mountain at Jayapura). But the catch is its a business class seat and I only get 40gks of my very heavy 87kg back with me, this will not be easy.

Wayan (Gobey’s friend who lives in Bali) has emailed him to say he will be heading to Aberdeen for a course with Weatherford. So with that quick thinking I ask Gobey if he is able to take back two wooden carvings I had picked up for our house back in Aberdeen with him. They are taking up 11kg which I could use somewhere else to get everything back. The 2 bottles of Jack are a very big must on the return list!!!

But before I spend the time repacking my bags, I have sun to catch and filling in my white bits, oh and a nice Indian meal before I leave (last super almost).
