    'Kachoris': Mathura is famous for three things - 'the sweet-pera', 'the birth place of Lord Krishna' and the 'Kachoris- made by stuffing wheat dough with lentils and frying them' only available in the mornigs. An everyday routine for the few boatmen still left of this dying profession. by: partham902005 Views[185] Sitting and staring at the rver has become one of the favorite job of many a young people of the city. In a way the river has two sides one for the devotees the old generation looking for tradition. The other for the young looking for peace and a place just to be themselves. Other places have disc, bars or restaurants.
