    My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

    Unlike the dominoes, cockfighting is a violent yet a respected pastime. It runs way back to ancient history of the Cuban ancestors. I was walking around in Trinidad one evening, and came across this proud man, gently stroking his rooster. This shot does not have a lot of objects, but I believe it is a powerful one as it focuses on the intensity of the relationship between the man and his proud crowning glory - his rooster.
