    My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

    I am a big fan of antique buildings - especially when it comes to windows, balconies and doors. This is one of my lucky shots, as I managed to get the right composition and exposure within 5 seconds, before the light turned green! (I was on a double decker bus, going around La Havana) La Havana consisted of buildings which is similar to the one depicted in this photograph. Despite the richness of it's culture, Cuba still remains one of the countries with the highest poverty rate.
