    Planning the trip

    I depart after the new year for Brazil.  I fly through Chicago, and am currently making alternate plans, if/when I get stuck in the Chicago airport in a blizard.  After that, it is off to the beaches of Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro.  I will be there for 4 days and hope to sample the rock climbing and the sun.  More to come....

    Brazil... hot damn!! I remember you mentioning that, but I didn´t realize it was a two month deal. If/when you need a place to stay anywhere inbetween Rio and Sao Paulo, let me know. I´ve got some hard-partying friends that would probably love to put you up (female), and some others that say they´re climbers (male). Can´t testify to how well they actually climb, but that´s the word. My Portuguese sucks, so ¡hasta luego y bueno suerte!
