My Scholarship entry - Ecotourism and the indigenous communities

The Story
The photo story presented here is about the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve in Ecuador. It is the second largest reserve in Ecuador and a very important one in Amazonia with a high biodiversity. In the story here I am showing how the indigenous communities are transforming their lives from farming, fishing, and hunting due to the effects of ecotourism.
About me
I am an amateur photographer who has an endless patience, curiosity for learning and a passion for travel. I love photography for its ability to capture one moment at a time, and when pieced together can bring out a story that can inspire others to travel, or bring awareness to a situation.
This assignment would be a great opportunity to learn from a professional photographer on how to approach a story and deliver something authentic, which in the end can help me advance my skills and explore more of the world.
