Lunchstop at Predjama Castle. In Sue's words, "possibly the best scene for a picnic". Never tasted strawberries before that actually tasted like strawberries. We're dining on the ancient jousting pitch and could almost feel the thundering rumble of the horses.

Slovenia in spring. These flowers are all over the country and accompanied us all the way from Bled in the North to Piran in the south - all mountains and hill villages the whole way. Not as gorgeous as a rose or bright as a tulip on their own, but incredibly beautiful in their many arrays of subtle colours.
