Taking a 2-second break from the constant auto-piloting of gear shifting - "yep this seems idyllic... Right, now back on the bike and let's get goin'!"

After what seemed like 2 days rolled in to one, and spectacular scenery appearing on our left-hand shoulder indicating that we'd hit the west coast.... lunch :) Funny how it seems there's an Irish pub in every corner of the world.

Round some of the furthest-western parts, the grass seemed constantly wind- or water-blown, and the roads either stretched into infinity or took you round the bends of hills with bays of lapping water at their sides...
