so i woke up today without the ability to speak!! oh dear. i thought i would have to struggle through the day doing activities without being able to speak louder than a mouse. however after the first period of the day it became evident that trying to teach the worst bunk on camp would be impossible so we cancelled period 2!! and period 4 and period 6 and 7!! lol so i've had a day on camp of relaxing and trying not to talk and trying to explain what's wrong without talking hahaha
i've had the kids asking me why i could talk all day yesterday but now i can't..there were even counsellors who knew it was my night off and just thought i had a big night at Honesdale's finest drinking establishment, the Limerick, know as the library whilst in the presence of campers. i like to point out that it's the library with the vending machine :)
anyway yesterday was a lovely day and the weather was awesome!! i had the entire afternoon off but went to ceramics with my bunk during period 6 to finish off my most amazing tea light candle holder thingy haha. the kids thought it was good haha. today however is a different story; it's very muggy and hot and unpleasant!! oh well i guess it is summer here!
anyway i shall fill you all in later with some lovely camp stories. i must prepare my science room for parents/visitors day which is on sunday and is also the day when the first session finishes and some kiddies go home!!
