Pole Land

POLAND | Friday, 10 August 2007 | Views [1440]

After enjoying nearly a week in Berlin...both East and West sides...which are so different. Affluent Gucci and Prada compared to Ghetto graffiti.

We jumped on a train to Proznan, not knowing wat to expect we were surprised to find a touristy town packed with cafes, around a lovely town square.

From there we headed to Warsaw which ended up being quite miserable thanks to the weather, none the less we missioned it to their famous Citadel which thank goodness was free.

Next to Krakow...buzzing with tourists, we hit all the big spots Krakow Castle, the massive Salt mines which were fabulous complete with underground chapel and also took a rather sombering trip to Auswitch.
