I took this shot following Ishmael’s lament. The old road has become seldom used as more people use the new bridge and highway to reduce travel time. He worries about how it is affecting the local honey-making industry and how it lessens the opportunity for Libyans to appreciate the wealth of stories associated with the land and experience the unique scenery along this older route.
