My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Caves dot the cliffs in several sections of the old road we took. Ramadan and Ishmael were telling me that bigger caves served as hiding posts for Libyan freedom fighters during the Italian occupation. The rugged terrain around these parts also served as an ambush zone whenever the Italian army pass the trail.
