The beginning of my blogging life

Where can I start off?

I could say that Japan is a small country, perhaps about the size of my home state of California. I could say that it is bustling in the big cities, overcrowded, and burdened with an increasingly older generation that cannot be supported by its youth. I could say that the food here is amazing when Japanese but many other ethnic dishes pale in comparison to those outside due to the typical Japanese bland palette (ever eaten Kyoto cuisine? You know what I'm talking about then). Or I could say that it is a bit xenophobic for all that it is foreigner-friendly to the tourists, living here is such a completely different experience.

I fill that latter category. I live in Osaka. I have been here just shy of one year now. I am an English teacher. This is my story. Here. Now. Starting today. Welcome to my life.
